If you interested in Real Estate, Construction, Computer Technology than you should be able to make a real good living out here. I am self employed and my wife is in school getting a teaching degree. We live in Colorado Springs and those three career fields are really good to get into. One of our best friends is a realtor and her and her husband make over 300,000 a year combined. As far as hunting I think you could safely say we offer the best in the west.Elk, muley's, whitey's, bear, lion, sheep, goats, moose, antelope, turkeys. Great populations of each species. Out.

Flat Top about summed it up, but forgot to mention that there is some small game hunting to be had also, pheasant, quial, dove, chukar, plenty of coyote, some bobcats, geese(both lite and dark), duck, rabbit. Colo. has alot to offer, it may take getting permission on private property to have good hunting for some critters, but there is a lot of public hunting ground too.And yes, the economy is strong here, plenty of job opportunity!

Building & constuction are also doing well in my corner of Colorado. The best markets in this area are the trades (plumbing, electrical, etc),but you could always start your own buss. as many other sportsmen have done to free up time for the outdoors. The cost of living is a bit higher than some other places , but the views are worth it and the people are friendly.
Just ask if you need anything else.
