I have experience with Savage 12BVSS 300WSM, Tikka T3 270WSM and Ruger M77 7mm Rem Mag. The Ruger is gone now because nothing would get it under 1.5". Free floating it, made it worse, but now I understand, we should have added that back and tried more front pressure. The Savage is the best shooter, but the Tikka is right behind it. I like the Savage trigger, heft and balance better, but I like 13lb guns! Once you shoot a 13lb rifle, it's hard to go back. It just settles in your hands so much quicker. You do need a good sling. I use a TSI sling. Nice and wide.
