well our first part of bow season is now over sorry i couldnt connect guys. late season is tough so idk how good of anything i can get.

Gonna try somewhere new tomorrow. Will scout early afternoon, then hang a stand for the evening watch. Wish me luck!

Sounds lie a tough season on everyone!! It is crazy around here, hardly any deer are being killed or seen, and I live in a area that was 30 - 40 dpsm about 5 years ago. I hate the Farm Bureau and their political pull here in MI we have hada doe per day season for three months a fall now for 4 years I think, it has just ruined our herd. I think I need a new state!!! It seems that the 8pt. that I shot on Nov. 13 and never recoverd was taken by a young man on the Md youth day hunt.I thought that shot I heard a couple of minutes after I lost sight of him was too close for comfort.My last sighting of the buck was that of him running to another woodlot.
It's kind of a Catch 22-I'm dissappointed in my own failure,but I'm happy for the young man for his trophy,and that the buck isn't walking around wounded...Bob

Thats good that he got put down so quickly, too bad things didnt happen for the better for you though!! Crap happens and you can only hope like a happy ending like that everytime.

Well guys season ended here for me last saturday. Didn't connect with a buck this year with a bow. I did harvest a nice doe though so i still had a sucessful archery season. I only saw 1 buck all archery season which was a spike i did shoot at it though because i am a meat hunter but i thought he was 35 here he was 27 right over his back. GRRR thats the way it goes! that's y they call it hunting. Rifle season starts up here on Monday so hopefully ill get a nice buck. Sorry i couldnt help u guys. It just wasn't my year. ... Good luck teamates kill a big un!
