Almost forgot,this Sat. the MD.modern firearms deer season starts(2 weeks),then a one week lull before a 2 week muzzleloader starts.Both of which I'll be hunting.In MD.,you can bowhunt if you wear orange,so there you go!!!...Bob

ML ended here on public land. I only went once with the ML, but took the bow out a few times during the season. Shotgun starts this weekend. I gotta be in NY for the holiday, wont get to hunt the opener, but may get out during the week (probably less yahoos too). Got an invite to hunt with some old pros in the area, i may learn a thing or two. After shotgun, I still have to the end of Jan for bow. If I don't get too disgusted, I may still have a chance. Right now, i have an IM going with a friend of mine from KS. Her parents own a huge tract of land, and I'm negotiating a possible hunt for next season. If I can swing the tags and the travel $$, and if the Mrs lets me out, it just may happen next year! That would be a welcome change of pace. this is getting better... she says her old man only let some bird hunters on the property, and the deer herd needs some thinning out... think im gonna end this post and work on getting myself hooked up for next season!

I know this doesnt pertain to this contest but i finally got a deer, shot a doe with the rifle tonight to top off thanksgiving!!! Maybe my luck will change for the better now!!!
