I've noticed the LX is shooting a little high since the new limbs were installed.Nock, poundage is the same, and it papers good.I'll get it straighten out after my employees go home today(Friday). They tend to get upset when I shoot my 20-30 yard targets while they are still working...Bob

Trestand et al, how's the hunting going now? Are we having any luck out there? I hope that, at the least, you're all managing to get out for a little outdoor enjoyment.

It' been muzzlerloader season in MD.for the last week, and it goes for another week.I have'nt even taken my T/C Encore out yet.I've only gotten out a couple of times in the last 2 weeks, and when I did,it was with my bow.Hey,I'm trying to get some points for us guys!
This is the busy time of the year at my shop,so my time is limited, and as an added attraction,I tore something in my left shoulder that is going to require surgery.Went to the surgeon on Monday and got a cortizone shot to get me though till Feb.
Wed.afternoon,I got out,3 foxes,24 does in 2 1/2 hours.Nothing with any headgear.I'll probably hunt the Monday after Xmas.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.....Bob

The cortizone shot I got in my left shoulder lasted about 4 days.I'm basically in misery with this(I can't raise my left arm higher than 8 o'clock),so the surgery is going to happen within the next 7-10 days.I'm watching the end of the season slip away.
Actually,I can still draw my bow back(hurts like crazy),but I can still do it.But when it comes to climbing up the trees with my X-4,well, lets just say it's not exactly a thrilling experiance.Common sense tells me not to try it any more, but you all pretty much know how that goes.
I just wish I could of put some points on the board for us.I guess everything happens for a reason, just sometimes it's hard to understand.....Bob

Bob, that's too bad. I hope you can get things fixed up OK with the surgery. Have a buddy who had a terrible time a few years ago and couldn't draw a bow or do many other every-day things. Surgery solved that and he is better than new now.

It has been fun watching events unfold during this event, especially seeing some of the brutes that have been entered. I hope everybody had a whale of a time hunting, regardless; I know I did. BTW, we had our local antler scoring extravaganza at the clubhouse yesterday and my whitetail came in dead last in the archery section.

Beagle, it's been a pleasure. Happy in-between-deer-seasons to everyone. C2
