Well, I've been working on a new arrow build. So far, I've switched from 4 inch vanes glued offset to 2 inch Blazers R helical. I'm still trying both 2216 and 2219 shafts. Both seem to shoot under an inch and a halfat 20 yards without a rest.
I think the next step is to sight in at 40 yards. I also need to add 10 grains to the 2216's so they meet the min weight of 420. The 2219's are 450 gr. The next change to the arrowsis to replace the Horton type nocks with flat nocks and see if that improves or worsens the groups.
Anyways, I'm having a blast trying new things and shooting my xbow. Can't wait for the snow to melt so I can shoot prone.[8D]
