Didn't see nutten but peckerwoods and geese and lots of rain this morning! I saw 2 deer yesterday afternoon one was a Doe the other one i couldn't see its head. So 7 deer all on the ridge to bottom trail. Haven't seen anything around foodplot. So i moved ladder stand closer to the ridge trail, i should be able to get better shot on one.[8D]

Seen five deer this morning right at sunrise, to dark to tell if any bucks or not, and to far away. They went into the bedding woods and never seen them again. Gave them 2 1/2 hours then I headed for my bedding woods, the couch! Will try the swamp area tonight I think.

1hrs drive from my place! I have to have a CatScan in December and if there is no change the doctor will let me go. I was hoping to have had it in Oct., but no dice!Maybe I'll go for Spring Turkey with shotgun!Next year, God willing, X-bow for deer and hog!

Went out today and looked for the arrow I whacked the turkey w/. Took the .223 vs the xbow as it was mid-day and knew if I kicked one outta bed it would be either a long shot or none at all. Found the arrow!! Btw: there was just a tad more to that story. When I saw the three turkeys, I slipped my Slick outta the bow and grabbed what I thought was a Slick w/ grappler for turkeys. Well, since I got three quivers, lol, and had one w/ a judo for $10 squirrels on my property [no turkey] imagine my surprise when I looked down the bow and saw a judo!! Not the quiver I thought I had!! Decided to take a chance on a head shot and either get him or miss completely. All those shots off of the bench checking things out payed off. Oh yeah, the .223 is a single shot too, lol. Fine little rifle for head shots on standing still deer under 200 yds.
