Yes , both are great bow mfg's and either bow will give us years of enjoyment....enjoy what u bought and don't double guess ur choice. Aren't these xbows great to shoot.....oh yeah. I never thought I'd have so much enjoyment with a xbow and I hope every one else feels the same way.

i sold my 10 pt and got a exocet. i love it!!!
pros:
this is just my opinion but here goes.
1. excalibur is much lighter. if you hunt as much as i do you will love this feature.
2. dont have to worry about the noisy 10 pt string cocker that wont retract all the way that should
3. about $400-500 cheaper
cons:
excal does not have the dryfire protector feature
thumb safety not on excals(mostly for beginners)
10 pt is more narrow
i didnt get a hat w/ the excal.

Claiming that one xbow company or another is hiring IBO shooters is false, misleading, and flat untrue. Excal makes a target bow called the "Point Blanc". To the best of my knowlege, none of the other USAxbow mfgrs do. Excal went into business in 1983. That and the fact they entered the target world is probably why they lead it, rather than one bow against another being better. China, then Europe was the land of the xbow. They were whacking each other long before Columbus discovered America. The fact that some Italians favor the traditional wheel-less xbow should not surprise anyone, it's their history.

htoler, when I use an excal I did not have to replace cables or lube wheels, other than that and the cocking mech. I would say they rate an even break. Its like some guys like short gals and some guys like tall gals.

Hey y'all lets keep up the good points and a con or two on this thread. We knowed it takes a very good trigger system to be helpful. Wide limbs are a neg. if still huntingand stalking! Speed is always a plus but weight past 7lbs. is a neg. I wonder what a Parker Terminator would compare to the lower cost 10 pt's! Now thats what would be an eye opener as they are in same cost area! Lets get it on bye joe. Fur ought to fly on this![

Smokepole: Bet yer washin machine is a Maytag!! Dang, if you ain't an agitator!! I can tell ya from some extensive reading that although there ain't alot of Parker shooters out there compared to the rest, most seem pretty happy w/ their set-ups. I'm bettin it's a wash LOL

I be an agitater, instagator, aggrivater and a few others! Just my good side don't cha know. I think those Parkers will kick those other 10 pt's to sleep and might be better spent money. Don't they have a lifetime warranty?
