Default Is the meat any good

I shot a cull buck Tuesday and discovered that he was still in velvet because he did not have testicles. A friend said that he would not eat the meat.

I have never heard of such a thing. We eat cows and pigs, etc...after they have been casterated.

Should there be a problem with the meat????????

First time I hear that. I wouldn’t have a problem with the meat. What’s the difference like you said...

It should be better. Just like a steer or a barrow. How old was the buck? That really doesn't matter either. But I would think the meat would be better than any testosterone charged buck chasin' does.
