I still think it's a great Idea even with the concerns of zip lock. So this is what I'm thinking . Instead of useing ziplock tryfood saver bags. Make them the day before keep cold and when ready cut a corner. No pun intended [8D]. Orgettheir quart bags when camping, if you don't have electricity, use zip ties to close the top and stand them on end. I haven't tried it yet but it sure looks good on paper. Food saver bags are boil proof

How many of you have trouble with eggs breaking in your coolers? While your packing your cooler, put your eggs in quart mason jars; cracking them in to the jars, and put theFULL jars in your ice. they stay fresh and when you get ready to cook just pour out what you need. no fuss no mess.

Take a 1 qt freezer bag , crack in 2 eggs, toss in cheese, peppers onions .whatever. Squeeze out all the air and knead to mix and scramble. Place in pot of boiling water for 13 minutes and serve. When making for a group each can take a magic marker and writetheir name on there's. You can make about 8 at a time or use 2 pots. Just made one and couldn't believe how simple and good it is. Also more healthy than frying.

My only thought is flashing back to my army days (Canadian)when we had a thing called a ham omelette. You could boil it. You could fry it. You could add ketchup, salt, pepper and tabasco to it. But it was all in vain because it still tasted like crap.[:@]
