Deer ham recipe needed
Hey guys and girls,
I am looking for a good recipe for a whole deer ham (on the bone). I got some BBQ rub from the store and would love to try it out. I would be grilling the ham for a long period of time in a big aluminium pan. Any spice recommendations would be good to but I dont like real spicey foods.
My other question is if there is any frost burn on the ham can that part be cut off or has the meat spoiled?

I inject mine with either teriaki marinade or Chachere's Creole Butter and give them a good rub of garlic powder , onion powder , and a few secret seasonings and let them marinate in the fridge for a few days , then they go into either a very slow oven(200 deg) , or the smoker for 3 hours of smoking and then finish cooking at 200 deg. until they're done by weight . They come out delicious and fork tender .
