Default wisker biskit or drop away

What do you guys use, what are the pros and cons
to each. What are some other rests i sould look at
being a first timer.

Thanks for any input.

Definitely for a first timer I would go with a Whisker Biscuit. There's basically no chance of foul ups either practicing or hunting with this rest. I know some of the fall away die hards will tell you otherwise, but in my opinion, after it is set up and tuned to your bow properly, it's fire away and don't even worry about it. Good luck on your decision.

Better than the WB go look at the Whisper Disk from Golden Key. Much easier on your fletchings and not effected by cold and moisture.

Well i have never used the Golden key Wisper Disc rest?
But i have used the B-2.
Been bowhunting over 23-yrs. And i can say it is the best hunting rest i have ever used!

QAD Ultra Rest,

This has total containment, like the WB, but it is a fall away. Very quiet, it is great.

I use Bodoodle rests. They have one that I have used called the Zapper (I think) that holds your arrow. I really liked it. Doesn't effect fletching either. Very easy to use and they are reliable rests.

Funeralplanner1, have you used this rest? What aboutthe bar that goes over the top? No fletching interference?

The answer to your question is simple, APA Archery's Ultimate Twister. Total arrow containment and a drop away all in one. I started using one this past fall and it is awesome, I set it up one day and shot a nice fat doe the next!
