That's another good idea B. I think I came up with 3 options after all you guys posting your opinions on how I should handle this guy. This is what I came up with:

1. I'll contact the landowners and explain to them exactly what he did yesterday, and how he acts while we are out there. If they do not do anything about it, I'm going to option 2.

2. I check into OH's hunting laws and see if he has broke any of them by what he did. If so, I'm going to get the game warden involved if possible! If this all fails, I'm going with option 3.

3. This involves a big nice steamy pile on the seat of tree stand with a note that will read something like this "just wanted to return favor A$$hole".

How's this sound to you all?

I think I'd speak to Ralph about the situatiionand see what his corse of action would be ,maybe he'll speak to the other guy's landowner .I agree that urine won't bother the deer but It might bother you to set up there again and I think that's exactly why he did it .And by doinfg that he's trespassing on Your friend's grandfather's land .I don't think that i would confront him because I don't think that it would help .He want's that section all to himself, and it sound's as though that's not the property that he has permission for .Speak to your friend's grandfather before you do anything .Let us all know how you make out with this matter hopefully you can resolve it without any confrontation.

I would go over to his treestand while he's in it and climb up and quietly have a talk with him. If at the end of the discussion you feel your not satisfied with what he has to say I would quietly climb back down removing his treesteps on your way.
Good luck

The ultimate "Upper Decker". I like that.

What amazes me is 70yrds is plenty of room to hunt in between. If your bow hunting, deer love to split the middle and a 35 yrd shot is pushing most skill level. I like the land owner route. This guy already sounds too childish to respond to confrontation. This year alone I seem to be running into more and more bow hunters amongst other interuptions in the woods and you just deal with it. You learn to hunt around them to your advantage. Secondly I'll keep my mouth shut for now on as to where to look for hunting spots. Sorry guys but I need my spots too.

Good luck

Thanks again for the replies guys. I'm still trying to find out the name of the neighboring landowner. I was trying to look up on the internet for like plat maps, or maps that would show names on who owns what land in my county that I'm hunting. Worse case, I just have to wait until Monday when Ralph gets back from vacation and we'll find out the name of people. And then a phone call is being made! I will keep you all updated on what happens here. Thanks again!!

Sounds like you are a guy who plays by the rules of respect that most hunters observe... but this guy doesn't. I say there is only one way to handle an a$$ like this... confront him.
If he gives you anything but an appology... kick the hell out of him.
Now don't get me wrong... I am not John Wayne.... but hunters NEED to respect other hunters.
He not only is failing to give you any respect, he going WAY out of the way to disrespect you big time.
A sore nose will end that problem.
Good luck
