Default Using a decoy--positives and negatives

I was wondering how many of you hunt w/ a decoy during the different phases of the rut and the drawbacks (if any) on using them? I'm toying around w/ the idea of using one this year, but wanted to get some feedback first.

Thanks for any info

I've had good success with the featherlite decoy (doe) in both early season and late rut. It brought deer in to investigate. Had 2 nice bucks last year on 2 different days both come in from upwind and crossed a big gulley just because of the visual.
I've also had does and fawns find it suspicious and act spooky around it. Either way, it did what it was intended to do on all accounts, it brought deer in.

I use on during the rut..Stink it up with piss stick it in a field and waite..Also what worked for me is taking the legs off and placeing in a scrap line were it lookes like the doe is waiting for the buck to find here..I shot a 9 pointer 2yrs ago like that..If you hunt privet land and can leave stuff out, when your done hunting tie a rope on it and pull it up in a tree...
