Default RE: Using a decoy--positives and negatives

I've had good success with the featherlite decoy (doe) in both early season and late rut. It brought deer in to investigate. Had 2 nice bucks last year on 2 different days both come in from upwind and crossed a big gulley just because of the visual.
I've also had does and fawns find it suspicious and act spooky around it. Either way, it did what it was intended to do on all accounts, it brought deer in.
