Both eyes open, focus on target. I noticed yesterday that I was shooting tighter groups at 40yds than at 20yds. I realized I was focusing on moving my pin into place at 20yds, and at 40 I was really focusing on the target. So, I started doing that at 20 and got nice tight groups.

I focus on the target and let the pins blurr.

Also I dont try and hold the pin rock solid on the spot I want to hit I just let the pin float around where I want hit.
Exactly, that and apply back tension to trigger the release, not triggering it intentional at a snap and the arrow will be there everytime....provided you judged the distance.

both eyes open then i concentrate on the spot I want my arrow to go then when my little green dot gets to that spot I release, I find that if I focus on my pins to much I have a harder time keeping it steady on the spot I want to hit.
