Default Taking Aim

As I was shooting this evening, I discovered that I was not looking at my sight pins the same every time. It seems that some times I focus on the pin it's self and other times I focus on the target. I get different results between the two.

When you take aim, what do you focus on?

I am undecided which works best for me.....

I focus on the target and let the pins blurr.

Also I dont try and hold the pin rock solid on the spot I want to hit I just let the pin float around where I want hit.

I focus on a very small point on my target and then let the pin fall into the picture.

I shoot with both eyes open. I concentrate on the target and since the pin is between me and the target it falls right into the "whole picture".

I'm with adams. I shoot with both eyes open...focus on the target..and release when my pin is where I want it.
