My practice sessions are nearly identical to yours GS... in that my BH's get just enough target time to ensure they are hitting the same point of aim as my target points. I then return to the field points... including the time I spend shooting between hunts. I find no need to shoot / dull the Bh's on anything other than game after they've been dialed in.

I shoot with my broadheads.....with the practice blades. I then switch to my real blades. I personally find it is a confidence booster to know my broadheads are hitting right where they need to be!!!!

I tune with my FP's until I am confident that the tune of bow and my form is good and static. Then I use my broadheads to finish shooting in, and shooting under simulated hunting conditions, and the FP's never go back on unless I have to do a retune.

If my broadhead mounted shafts are not flying as the FP's were, I tweak the broadhead setup, not the fieldpoint setup.
