Muzzy 100's all the way! I have a set of broadheads that I practice with & then change blades, making sure to not to mix up the braodheads and arrows.

I've used marine styrofoam for years. Used to just go out to the lake and pick up a piece after a good storm, but now the Corps of Engineers has banned using it for boathouse floatation. It's getting hard to find any more. Hate to think I'd actually have to stoop so low as to go and BUY some. [&o]

I am using the G5 montecs too. Use old 3-D target and foam targets kind of beats up the block won't shoot at that anymore

I shoot my muzzy's at an old 3D deer target. I want to shoot EXACTLY the same configuration I'll have in my quiver, so I don't use the practice blades--I just use last year's blades in the actual broadheads I'll use. If they're perfect at all ranges, I'll put in new blades, spin test 'em and put them in the quiver.

After thinking about it more, I think the blades on the Tekans were lost because I switched to Easton Axis arrows, which is a much smaller shaft than my previous carbon arrows. With the smaller shaft, where the head screws on to the insert, there's a much smaller diameter area to stop the blades when they expand.

I shoot my last season muzzy blades into 3-d deer targets , i shoot broadheads year round.
