Mathews Bows
#32
What I don't understand is why energy is spent at all on whose bow is better then whose. When I put 12 arrows in a 4" circle at 50 yards, I'm taking the credit for it no matter what I'm shooting!

Please, we all know everyone else has "catch us if you can" envy!
Hey really, shoot what you like, and I'll shoot the best-Mathews. Jokes.
FX, Q2XL with an Outback on the way! Soon I hope.

I knew I had to reply to this one. I owned a FeatherMax from 97-2002. Then I bought a Conquest 2. I have a 32" draw and the Conquest improved my form from the 31" FeatherMax. I LOVED THEM BOTH !!!!
In 2002 I toured the Mathews factory in Sparta, WI on the way up to an annual duck hunt on the northern Mississippi. It was awesome. They showed me every aspect of the bows being built. The people couldn't have been nicer.
I set it up with an Archers choice sight and a drop off rest. I shoot Carbon Express 400's.

well every bow is over priced, there is no bow that is the best bow in the world, for me i could take a hundred dollar bow and it will shoot as good as a 800 dollar bow and iam no expert. for me the best bow is quite, shock free, good speed and built for hunting and i could give a rats *&^ about what the letters say, every bow company make a good bow its just what you like... just my two cents

I shot with a professional Mathew's shooter and he told me that Mathew's bows are over priced, and over advertised. He said if he wasn't sponsered he would just get a PSE bow.

Wow this thread has been getting alot more attention then i thought. I am new to the boards and also shorta new to bow hunting and just wanted to know how other mathew shooters like their bow. My buddy has a hoyt and nothing against them but just from holding it i know its not for me bowtec i know nothing about besides noone i know has one..... maybe theres a reason? i dont know, but all of the bickering going on sounds like this isnt the first time your guys have disagreed on this subject matter.
