Well I've gone from 6 fried eggs to two, from a pound of hashbrowns to about a third of a pound and from a pound of sausage to just a quarter of a pound. Oh, and naturally I only eat a couple pieces of toast with butter since I cut back on the eggs. Still drink a pot of coffee though. Thats just for breakfast. I'm also down to a six pack a night instead of a twelve and I've changed to lite beer, and have cut back on smokes to a couple cartons a week.

How'my doing so far??????????

I pretty much agree with what everyone else here said. I do 20-30 min of cardio at least 3-4 times a week, and I lift for about an hour 3-4 times a week as well. One day for chest, one for back/shoulders, one for bis/tris, and the last one for legs. You gotta love not being able to walk straight for 3 days when you overdo it on the squat rack.

I will be able to carry a deer outta the woods this year, i problably can already. As for leg strength i have been in tae kwon do for 12 years so i think i know a little about leg strenght[:'(] If i can kick a 250lb man off his feet and on his back i would say i could hold twice my weight, besides dead lifts are great but squats are bad for ya stud.

We started weight training for football, lifting for about 45 minutes 3 days a week. Me and 3 of my friends run at the track too, starting at a mile and a quarter, adding a quarter mile each week until we hit 3 or 4 miles.

You can never be in good enough shape for elk hunting. You can work your butt off and still want to be in better shape! I have been working 4 days a week 12 hour days pouring and finishing concrete. My brothers and I are licensed contractors and normaly this time of year we are framing and siding. But this past spring we bid on a huge concrete project and we won the bid. We started two week ago. Were not even halfway finished with the project, and I not sure if I ever want to look at concrete again. It does get you in shape though, either that or it kills you. Every time I get tired I just try to imagined that I am elk hunting, and I that I have to keep going in order to be sucessful. I do like to run as well and I will start after the concrete job is finished!
