feathers or vanes?

Feathers! I have a better flying arrow now. You can shoot a badly damaged feather arrow quite well. Not always true with plastic. I don't have problems with feathers in the rain.

Also, I have noticed, when stalking up on elk, deer, and antelope, brush rubbing up on the feathers, can be rather noisy.

feathers all the way. Never had a problem with them before.

Feathers, but they can be a pain in but trying to potect them from , brush, rain, etc.

I have always shot veins. They have always been great for me so I have never really had any reason to try feathers. I guess it is whichever works best for you.
