What's the latest date in the bow season that you harvested a deer? I got the biggest doe I ever shot the day after christmas a couple years back. Great late christmas present.

I've shot a number of deer with my bow in January. The latest that ever happened one year was on Jan. 31st--the last day of the season--with about 10 minutes of shooting light left.

I never go out that late in the season I find it to be to cold!
After sitting in a tree for to long I cant pull my bow back very easily.
If you guys have any good tips for keeping warm I would love to know!

octhunter, I'm a crazed mailman by trade and I'm out in everything. Advice: layers layers layers layers; you got it. That's how we survive in Northern NY. It works.
