HAY GUYS THE RUT IS ON HERE IN WESTERN NY ... FIRST SIGNS SEE A 8 POINTERS @ 3:30 AM HALL ASS IN FRONT OF MY TRUCK AND SEE BUCKS IN UNUSELE PLACES AND THE SELL IN THE WOODS,,,,,

I don' t think they have hit full rut yet. There may be some that are close but it isn' t crazy yet... we get the first big change in temp from the tropical weather that we have had... and it will get some more life.

Friday will be the day, upper 50 temps to low 40' s, Maybe a bigger decrease. Should be good hunting this weekend, They are forcasting Snow and Near Freezing Temps, oh boy, i cant wait!

Watched a doe chase away her fawn last Thursday. Right before a nice 8 pointer following her caught a Gold Tip with a 100 grain Muzzy through the lungs.
