its close but not yet, seen a doe w/ 2 fawns today and no follower but also had 2 scrapes near one stand, thats great! another week!

I don' t think they have hit full rut yet. There may be some that are close but it isn' t crazy yet... we get the first big change in temp from the tropical weather that we have had... and it will get some more life.

Friday will be the day, upper 50 temps to low 40' s, Maybe a bigger decrease. Should be good hunting this weekend, They are forcasting Snow and Near Freezing Temps, oh boy, i cant wait! :D:D:D:D

I' m in northern New York, guys. I shot a buck this past Saturday morning that was chasing three does ahead of him. It' s started here. Sic ' em boys!

Watched a doe chase away her fawn last Thursday. Right before a nice 8 pointer following her caught a Gold Tip with a 100 grain Muzzy through the lungs.
