I am 40 in hunting since I was 12 . Have three youngins 6,9,11 years old. They all 3 love to hunt and the 9 and 11 year olds have their own guns and bows!!!

Im a 13 teen and this is my 2nd year to hunt and i love it. opening day of bow season i shot a 7-piont buck. it was the altimate high. i wouldnt traded it for the world.

Sorry I' m 45 almost 46 been and hunting freak from age 12 just can' t seem to get enough.
You said 42 was average age.
Take a look at hunters you see in the woods for any season deer,turkey small game average age for all has to be around 48 to 50.
Started deer hunting at age 16.
Archery at age 15.
Small game at 12.

Guess I' m average. 42 here, started hunting at 18 (unless you count the cottontail' s I used to take when I was 8-9 with a longbow.) My parents weren' t into hunting at all. My mom wouldn' t let me have a gun, but as soon as I turned 18, bought my first rifle. Unfortunately, I haven' t done a lot of hunting because of circumstances, but now I get out every chance I get.

I' m 50. My dad introduced me to hunting at an age of about 12. I started bowhunting at the age of 20. Introduced my dad to bowhunting a year later when he was 48. He actually thought " who you trying to fool killing a deer with a bow" until he helped me track the first deer I arrowed.

I' m 40 and have been hunting since I was 8 years old with my Dad uncles and grandpas love them all for getting me interested, wish I could have one more hunt with some of them....
