actually....you cook the squirrel in with the gravy like you would sausage. then you pour that over the biscuits....so it would actually be squirrel gravy and biscuits. does that sound better?

Its been very cold for this time of year here in Minnesota also. For the last week I' ve been wearing my clothes I normally wear in early november. Hope for some Indain summer.

The opener was nice here in the Upper Penninsula. It was cold and we had snow!!! Got the deer moving, all but the big bucks, and really made it feel like bow season around here. Absolutely love it!!!! Good luck to you all!!

Hey Justinl, you better just get out there and enjoy it why its here. Deer in many parts of ILL are thinking its november already.

I watched a solid 140 t0 150 class buck chasing and grunting after a doe thursday evening. Bucks of this caliber normally dont even show thier self on my farm till november!!

Its probably going to be in the 80' s come november!!

Gimme the cool weather any day! I had more than a few 90-100 degree hunts this year. At leat you don' t have to worry about heat stroke.
