Arrow weight change
I am currently shooting a 340 grain arrow at 284 fps with 60#. I am considering using a slightly heavier arrow, 360 - 365 grains, and I am wondering if this litttle bit of change is really going to make much difference. What would you suggest. Thanks

To me, your arrow wts seem to be on the light side, especially for deer hunting. JMO.
There is a good article in the July issue of Petersen' s Bowhunting Mag discussing this topic. It was written by Bill Winke and he makes some good points.

RE: Arrow weight change
As Buckbuster4ou stated you are a little light, but IMO not for hunting. You are less then 6 grains per pound which can void you bow warranty and equipment reliability came become an issue. At your current set up you are producing around 61 ft lbs of ke. Plenty for deer hunting. If you increase your arrow weight to 360/365 your gains in ke will be offset by your loss of velocity. However, you will gain momentum which equates to better penetration but your trajectory will change. If you plan to increase your weight by using a heavier broadhead you will increase your FOC which could give you better arrow control.

Momentum vs Kinetic Energy arguments have been around for a long time and I won' t argue them any more. But here is a good discussion and the confirming reason why I will take Kinetic Energy every time.
