With the cutting diameter of the GrizzTricks and being 4 blades will it affect penetration on deer out to 30-35 yards? I have about 53ft lbs of KE. Will I be ok if I went with these heads?

Luke,
I think you'd be just fine, the cutting diameter is less concerning than the angle of the blades to me because they're not that wide of a cut, but it IS and acute angle that those BH's have to them. I have plenty of energy for just about anything on the market, but I might hesitate to us the Grizz-Tricks. The ST Magnums however are an excellent BH, and have a more sloping angle that doesn't seem to affect penetration. Granted, ST are SHARP, but that angle on the Grizz-Tricks "scares" me away from them.

From having both OHbowhunter, The grizztricks angle really isnt much more at all. It basically is in the design of the ferrule. In the pics i do see exactly what you are talking about, but hand in hand, its almost hard to tell a true difference.
