wow that is crazy, i cant believe they got that close without the buck doing anything with them when they got them untangled, i figured he at least would have charged or something, wow incredible pictures, thanks for sharing Schultzy!

hmmm very interesting. i hunt roughly 3 minutes from where these bucks where found. canton is on border of iowa and south dakota in northwest iowa, and the big sioux river is the dividing line. it could have happened this year, even though i never heard about it. i'm pretty sure it did happen at the place, even though there is some holes in the story. for instance, the railroad tracks are south of the golf course, not east of it.the last two pics have hills in the back of the picture, which look very very similar to the ones i hunt in.
i don't recognize the farmer in the pic, but i have some friends who might.

i will have to ask a few farmers around here about it, and hopefully they can fill me in. if its true, i'll be looking for that big boy next season! [:-]

That is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time, no matter where it actually happened. I'm glad atleast one of them lived to see another day..
