Small rant...

I dont see why your having such a hard time getting this post Jim. Its a pretty much straight foreward idea here, no way a real hunter could argue what Dan is trying to say. He just wants people to be proud about what they shoot, or not shoot at all, and I 100% agree.

I actually thought of my hunting season so far today while I was driving and it plays into the idea of this thread perfectly. My goal has been to kill a very nice buck (as is everyone elses). I've had chances so far. The more I thought about the buck I killed this year(short of my goals) the prouder I am.........the prouder I am that I am able to be a bowhunter, and able to hunt whitetails. I am also very proud that the United States Marine Corp allows me to hunt on their base, for without that place I would have nowhere to hunt. I am LUCKY to be a bowhunter with land to hunt.
Bawana, I am sorry...sometimes when people just try to purposefully inflame others for no reason or try to "enlighten" them with a twisted series of posts, it bothers me. Sorry if I jumped the gun on you.

What you fail to see is that they are plenty proud when they shoot it,thats why they shoot it.Their Friends are happy ,their family is happy,Its when they post here that the questioning begins. What all the big buck guru's think, or what the traditional guys think, god forbid admitting you shot a small buck with a cross bow.[
