This question come up a few times a year, maybe more. Ted has done alot more good than bad for our sport. I'm not going into detail any more than that. Do a little research on things he's been doing all these years. His shows are a little bit out there, but he's done good things.

That is the exact reason I don't like him. I will concede he makes good points and I agree with him. However he comes of like a nut. He looks, sounds and acts like a raving lunatic and that is the way many see him. I don't know one person that is on the fence about gun control or hunting that would watch that clip and want to jump to our side. Some would watch that clip and say that is the exact kind of person that should NOT be allowed to own a gun.

You like that because you already feel that way. You see it and go "Tell it Ted!" because you already agree with him. If you don't already feel that way you think "Wow, what nut job" and change the channel. Then again that was probably on his TV show so that message isn't actually get to anyone that isn't already a Ted supporter.

Just read through some of the comments for that video and will what I mean. The only people agreeing with him are people that like Ted in the first place.

There are lots of people that do really great things for hunting, gun control and the NRA that don't go around sounding like deranged lunatics.

The man showed passion for his Constitutional Rights to own guns. He believes as do I that law enforcement should be able to carry a firearm anywhere they go. For our protection and theirs. Watch aclip of a liberal wanting to ban the use of firearms and I'll show you a ranting lunatic.

Thats what I believe to. If you listen to the things he says it seems like a no brainer but the anti gun are so F-ing stupid that it pisses him and me and others off. And I'm kind of like him in the way that if I'm for something I'm going to get my point out there. I might seem a little crazy or pissed when I'm speeking about it but hell if I believe in something I'm going to put my heart into it. And get a little pissed like he does about it.

I hope that makes sense sorry not the best when it comes to spelling and getting my thoughts down in words.

IMO- Only an idiot can't see through his tone of voice and facial expressions to hear the words he's saying (which make great sense). How can you argue with the concept of
a-) allowing police officers to carry weapons nationwide
and
b-) not sending in unarmed or under-armed officers into dangerous situations?

So what you are left with are idiots who only see facial expressions and hear tone of voice... AND since most idiots lean towards liberalism anyway - that's why you get the more popular reaction of an anti (they were liberals to begin with).

Not saying if it is right or wrong, just how he comes he across is all. The people you are so willing to call idiots on a public forum are probably going to be the ones deciding on your gun ownership and hunting rights. I wouldn't be so quick to attack them.

And I know a LOT of people that are on the fence about gun ownership and hunting that are not liberal extremists and crazy. They just simply don't own any guns and don't hunt is all.

All I know is Ted portrays me a in a way I don't like.
