Oh by the way.......I have the Hand Climber version of this stand.
The Sit and Climb is for Pansies.

There I said it.

HB I WILL love this stand. I'm just telling what I'm finding out as I go. Not trying to step on anyone's toes.

Good luck to you this fall. too.

I use the sit-and-climb as a hand climber as well. I can climb faster because I get bigger "bites"

I chose the sit & climb over the hand climber for the added safety of the climbing bar.

I can't help it, EI......

Do you realize how much of an ...Deleted by CalHunter... you come across as......when you try to berate me for being a beginner with this stand (whatever that means)......when you readily admit you don't tie off when you climb??????
Jeff, what inthe hell does me not securing myself while going up a tree, have to do with your obvious inability to grasp something as simple as a climbing stand. You continue to divert the attention away from your "beginners review", which was a joke, to something thathas nothing to do with the original thread. This is very typical of yourbehavior. I think they refer to it as defocusing. Which you are quite good at.
Initially, I tried to give you pointers on how this stand should be used. But, like anyone who tries to tell you anything, you became rebellious with me. This is always your MO. Talking to you is like trying talking to a wall most of the time. It's a shame. I am done wasting my time with you on this subject.

EI....if you don't like this review....do your own, please. I promise I won't post on it.
From Page 5, EI.......lol. It's not like I ws begging for your input.

What does you not being tied off have to do with anything??? Are you serious? You're berating ME for not climbing like YOU do (although my way seems to be pretty popular, it seems[8D]) and you don't even climb, safely?

I don't take handgun safety"pointers" from the guys playing Russian Roulette, either
