Go gun hunting, your chances will improve at these yardages much more and the deer will most likely get shot in the vitals and not wounded! You can shoot the **** out of that target at 200 yards if you want and hit your mark or close to it, this is bow hunting, not target practice. 2 completely different things which you obviously have no clue on when it comes to the hunting side of it. Words like yours from a so called bow hunter make me cringe and to top it off your from Mn as well, real nice![8D]

I`ve never taken a deer from these distances,35 being the furthest,past on a 60 yard shot once at a little buck but the question was how far would you shoot,I would feel comfortable shooting a deer from 80 yards and like I said earlier wadell shoots whitetail from 55 on tv,is that wrong?

actually I wounded 1 when I was a teenager with a recurve(brisket shot) but none since then and thats been 20 years,
