There are Bowhunters and there are hunters that use a bow and arrow and the difference between the two is measured in yards .

It's funny how everyone knows what everyone else's effective range is.

I hope we all spend as much time learning what our own effective rangeis as we do telling others theirs is too far

Just because yours is only 20/25 yards don't ridicule someone who has a different one. I've seen some amazing shots with a bow!!

Who am I to tell them they should not shoot that far just because I don't feel like I can.

I have killed animals at distances I could spit on them and some at ranges that are too long according to some of you. There is much more that goes into deciding when to shoot than knowing the range.

I've had8 yard shots that were a NO shot and 50 yard shots that were aSlam Dunk

Seriously if you want to take shots like that, go get a gun and put the bow down.

Shooting at animals at those distances is nothing more than ego stroking.

i remember a few months ago someone posted about a guy taking a arrow and sliding it down a 410 and shooting it 100 yards or something
