Jeff, it's a great idea, but you just wait until a big buck walks under your stand while you out viewing with the wife...lol. Of course I'm totally against baiting.

I'm gonna buy a 16' ladder stand and set it up on the outskirts of my hunting area......and bait some deer in. Been wondering what the best way to do this is.....and I think I can "make it happen" with this setup.
Might only use it 2-3 times.....but it'll serve the purpose.

Im going to have to disagree with you on this one. Most of my stands are 15-16ft and I used to bait heavily untill they dropped the limit to 2 gallons per hunter per 40 acres. I have shot many deer on bait piles. Now i just use the natural resources such as 30 acres of corn fields
