Well heck, if she just wants to see some deer, put the thing in the back corner of your yard.Feed 'em right and she can be calling them by name in a few months. Won't have to leave the A/C, can sit in the old hot tub and watch Bambi grow all year round. The plus here is you get to do the hot tub in the off season and when you're saying deer deer ohhhhhhhh deer... she'll be thinking you're saying DEAR DEAR...OH MY GOD DEAR.

Sounds like fun Jeff. I did the same thing last year with my Lisa. We brought the bow and the camera, and I told her if one came in she could pic which we would shoot with depending on her comfort level. She picked the bow, I just wasn't able to close the deal though (hit the blind.......[8D]).
Now we are booked for her to attend a hunters safety course in September. I doubt she will get out with a bow this year, but I already have my eye on a Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08 to have waiting at home when she completes the course.

You familiar with the 7mm-08? It's not your average 7mm. It's got a bit more punch than a .243, and doesn't kick nearly as much as a .270 or the bigger guns. It's basically the same case as a .243 with a little larger slug.

Jeff, this would probably do the trick. It is hot down in NC during the early season, you wouldn't want your wife to be too "hot" or uncomfortable with her camo clothes.

Guys I'm kinda kidding.
Lisa wants to get out and SEE some deer......and I thought htis would be a great way for her to SEE them (from a pretty good distance). If one gets close to her....she'll probably wet her pants.....lol.
She wants to see them.....but don't wanna see one die. So....she best be nowhere around me if the nannies come to call.
She'll go about 2-3 times, all season....if I'm lucky. Hopefully she'll get some good photos.
So...whos got a line on some hot ladies camo?
