I dont think it is a good idea might make more guys stop trout fishing and that effects our economy in P.A. in lost revenues Ex: hunting and tackle shops , lodges, camps ect. P.S. take a youngster fishing keep fishing alive.

It actually comes about because the hatcheries are giving off too much 'fish poop'. They've cut back the hatcheries to meet regulations, which means less fish in the creeks. I wouldn't mind so much at all about the number they stock, I'd like to have the average size a little bigger. Go to the PF&BC website(sorry don't know it exactly) and they'll have more info.

They are cutting down but they said that wont effect fisherman and it is because they have to save soem oney to repair the hatcheries. It doesnt really bother me but i wish they would stop stocking those little dinky ones and put more big ones in.
