Got an idea....Gonna bait me a stand, this year.
I'm gonna buy a 16' ladder stand and set it up on the outskirts of my hunting area......and bait some deer in. Been wondering what the best way to do this is.....and I think I can "make it happen" with this setup.
Might only use it 2-3 times.....but it'll serve the purpose.
Whatcha think?

Remember less bait is better
You need to create competion for the setup. You want the deer to "race" to get there. Also I find the deer like their apples sliced with the skin left on.

The best way to make it happen is get an ATV and drive the bait out there evey couple of day's. After awhile the ATV becomes the dinner bell. When you hunt the stand have someone drive you out and dump the bait while you climb uo in the stand. Good Luck

I would start putting it out now so they get used to it before the season. Are you going to be supplying it by hand or have a timer? How much are you thinking of putting out every week?

Go to Southern States and buy their bag seed spreader, it holds about 15 pounds of corn...Fill it up and spread where you want them to be...Do this 2 times a week...

Guys I'm kinda kidding.
Lisa wants to get out and SEE some deer......and I thought htis would be a great way for her to SEE them (from a pretty good distance). If one gets close to her....she'll probably wet her pants.....lol.
She wants to see them.....but don't wanna see one die. So....she best be nowhere around me if the nannies come to call.
She'll go about 2-3 times, all season....if I'm lucky. Hopefully she'll get some good photos.
So...whos got a line on some hot ladies camo?
