Right hand Shooter Left eye dominant

RE: Right hand Shooter Left eye dominant
My scenario is quite different than a lot of people's who have opposite eye dominance to the way they shoot. I damaged my left shoulder pretty extensively playing football in high school, and got to the point the I couldn't draw a bow very well without pain, and because of this and other variables, my form was HORRIBLE, and that may be giving it more credit than it deserved. So, I switched over, and trained myself to become "right eye semi-dominant" to shoot a bow. Now, shooting a bow right-handed just feels like its natural, but it certainly didn't at first, and my form is far better right-handed than it ever was left-handed, because I started from scratch, with no ingrained form flaws. I still shoot a rifle left-handed, and a pistol really screws with me, because I can shoot either hand and whichever hand I hold the gun in will take over dominance in my eyes.

I was in your same situation for the first 5 years that I bowhunted. A few years back, I made the switch. I never though I would be able to pull very much shooting left handed, but was wrong. I had reconstructive shoulder surgery 3 years ago on my right shoulder and figure that was as good of time as any to make the switch. Right after the season is over, ditch the right hander and pick up a left. It will give you plenty of time to practice.
It was a great move. I could shoot pretty well right handed, but left handed I learned that I'm better.

I am right handed but left dominate. I shut my dominate eye and it is not a problem . I shoot very well this way and have no reason to change it {if it ain't broke why fix it}
I open my eye upon release ,it is open before impact
