I had a guy come into Sportsman's the other day and had someone call his cell phone while we were talking. I'm assuming, and I say assuming because I honestly couldn't tell if this is what it was, that it was supposed to be an elk bugling. It sounded horrible, but he was pretty damn proud of it. He let me listen to various others, all of which sounded pretty crappy to me. Turkeys gobbling and what I think was a goose call.

In all honesty, aside from it sounding kind of bad, it was pretty tacky. All he needed was a Dale Jr. racing hat and a Coors Light t-shirt on and he would have been your picture redneck. [&:]
Dan, if there's one thing you and I agree on 100% - it's stereotypes.LOL

Just hearing those tacky-ass wildlife ringtones makes me want to just rip the cell phone out of Billy Bob's hands, and mash it into a zillion pieces with a sledgehammer.

Reminds me of this scene... http://youtube.com/watch?v=NCkqyy_mX80

Better than a rap song ring tone and a tight Hollister T' on and being a picture yuppie
When I hear someone with a rap ringtone, I get violently angry.'

Tighter t-shirts ??? Nothing wrong wtih style my brotha !!
There is a difference between wearing a shirt that fits and one that looks like you stole it from the 12 year old kid down the street

I think taking a cell phone along on a hunt would be a great idea in the event of emergency, assuming you can get service out in the woods. But why in the heck would you have it turned on? Just put me down as hopelessly out of step I guess.
I have it cause in hunting season I am a part of a large group of txt o holics. I love getting in hunt reports from buddies doing the same thing I am day in and day out after work.
