Guardian or General

I'm going the other route and personally prefer the General over the Guardian but what a tough choice to have to pick between two of the finest bows on the market. One that goes, pft and one that goes pfft when all other bows on the market go pDFFFFFFPPFPFPFPT.

Go with the one that feels best to you. The Guardian is only faster on paper, you're not going to notice th at mimimal amount of difference in what, 7 or 10 fps in speed? Please.....
The General must be listed on top of the Guardian for a reason?
Good luck Brian

i bought the general a couple weeks ago. it is sweet. speed is the main difference between the two. im shooting 29.5"at 71# with the general. im shooting a fmj 400 w/100gr. tip (heavy hunting weight arrow) and it shot 275 even through the chrono. i shoot out to fifty yards with a four pin sight. all of my sight pins are basically the same distance apart from 20,30,40,50 and its consistent. i shot my best group ever at 50 2 days ago and was absolutely amazed, and im no excellent comp. style shooter. i just love to shoot. before the new purchase speed was a priority, but after shooting the general with the speed mod, i could care less as long as its decent. they are both great, shoot them both. shoot them both through a chrono. if you are concerned enough about 10-20fps. but with the general, its all about the feel.

I dont like the General. At 60lbs you can hardley get it past its breaking point, with bear set at 60 lbs there was no probs.....difference in cams I know but the general should be dishonorable discharged

I bought the Guardian last year and a General this year. After comparing the two I decided to keep my Guardian. I just don't see where people think the General has a smoother draw cycle than the Guardain. To me it is the opposite. I put smooth mods on the General and then it started to feel a little better, but I decided that overall for me the Guardian was the better bow. So I sold it and ordered a 101.

Just remember it was the PFT of the General that won the game of B.U.C.K. that noone could do in your backyard![8D]
