i bought the general a couple weeks ago. it is sweet. speed is the main difference between the two. im shooting 29.5"at 71# with the general. im shooting a fmj 400 w/100gr. tip (heavy hunting weight arrow) and it shot 275 even through the chrono. i shoot out to fifty yards with a four pin sight. all of my sight pins are basically the same distance apart from 20,30,40,50 and its consistent. i shot my best group ever at 50 2 days ago and was absolutely amazed, and im no excellent comp. style shooter. i just love to shoot. before the new purchase speed was a priority, but after shooting the general with the speed mod, i could care less as long as its decent. they are both great, shoot them both. shoot them both through a chrono. if you are concerned enough about 10-20fps. but with the general, its all about the feel.
