D-Loop Advice for 82nd Airborne owners
#31
I never claimed it was "fact" Scott. I only stated that I did so at the advice of a well-respected board member who is constantly tinkering with bows (and works in the industry). I'd never do anything like that without getting advice to do so. So far....so good (on several accounts).
Gotta do what works......for you. It's working, for me.

Are you guys talking about after the shot the Loop will not be in the same position as when you started? Ends up facing away from you and you have to turn it back around?
This past year this is the first time I had this type of issue and when I go in for my tune up I am going to ask for this BCY material. Thanks.

I swear....I'm a Bowtech guy through and through....but lest not thou speaketh in detriment!....lol
I get pissed when I try to give a simple piece of advice and it gets misconstrued. If you have an 82nd....and you're having an issue (like the one I had).....either take heed or don't. No skin off my back. If you don't have one.....you really don't have a dog in the fight then, do ya?
Piss and vinegar? I suppose[&:]

To think that wax is not a lubricant is ,well, ??????????????????
WAX=LUBRICANT
SAND=ABRASIVE
see, it's simple!!!
If you put WAX on your loop, your lubricating it.....Now jeff, dont try to put one on with sand!!!!
And one more thing, it's not at all bowtech's fault that you used the cheep d-loop string, with wax or not...... I cant belive this is even a post!!

Guys...."I" didn't use anything. You're making this WAY too much about ME.
I had 4 different d-loops tied onto my bow at 4 different places.....and they ALL failed. Now I have to assume that these shops/techs don't just all do ****ty work.
So.....what's the common denominator? That's what I tried to figure out. Why in the world would I talk down a Company that I've bought FOUR bows from in a little over a year? Is it possible the string stop is causing this? If so.....wouldn't it be a good idea to let people know? Why does the loop material work on all the other bows the shops I went to tied them on?

So people told you, multiple times,after the first one, try BCY. no dice.
Now after your 5th one, you sign in with this epiphamy of using BCY.

I don't see how this could possibly be pinned on Bowtech.
Its like me complaining to GM that the new belt I bought at AutoZone is squeakin. Should GM now send out a memo to all dealers nationwide, advising them to warn all futurecustomers to not use AutoZone belts? If you could possibly think yes to this question, then where would the list stop?

(again, tongue in cheeck comment, sorta [8D].) I hear that! Holy .... It's a freaking string loop for God's sake. How much misery can one get from a string loop?
