Just another failed attempt to discredit a fine bow and company. Maybe somebody will bring up that they don't like the grip again. Keep tryin'...

I don't think so Red. I asked a couple simple questions to you loyalists. Go back and read any post I've made regarding Mathews and I've always said they make good bows. That's the difference between us.... Mathews guys seem to want to take on the world when somone says ANYTHING questioning the al mighty Mathews. I will give credit where it is due. This year I feel they(Mathews) dropped the ball.

Who was it that came out with the first solo-cam bows? Mathews... And who has copied that idea? Everyone... Actually that was Martin Archery

Who was it that came out with parallel limbs? Mathews...and who has copied that idea? Everyone...

Who was it that came out with the vibration dampners? Mathews... and everyone has copied that too. That was also Martin

You cant tell me that Mathews hasnt come out with anything innovative in a while, since they have been the founding father of modern bows for the last decade. Solo-cam, parallel limb, dampners, string supressors... the list goes on and on.
Roller Guards???..... Nope.. Spencer Land of High Country. So your list of so called copied technolgy got a bit shorter. Face it all bow companies have copied technolgies over the years... YES even Mathews

PABuck HNTR...your posts are the exception to the rule. Asking legitimate questions is certainly fair game. Folks that waste everyones' time with immature posts like "Mathews suck" and "I hate the grips" (put a new grip on), "yeah, but I hate the grips" does nothing to further the dialogue. As I've said before, I'll be trying the new DXT this year...but that won't stop me from test driving the:

Diamond Marquis
Bowtech Airbournes
Martin Firecat

The best bow for the money will join the stable...I am sure they are all high quality...you won't catch me wasting time saying brand "X" that some one else chose to buy sucks. Guess I just don't need an ego stroking.

HAHAHA! You dont even know what your talking about smartypants...
Your just trying to look smart!

First off, MATHEWS was the FIRST to come up with solo cams. He made the prototype in 1991. Here's an article on the subject, maybe you can study up before you post your "facts" next time....http://www.cncmagazine.com/archive02/v4i15/v4i15f-archry.htm

I have no positive proof that they were the first to have dampners, but I know that they were the first bows I ever saw with them. And you have no proof that Martin came up with them either, so your arguement is worthless.

Dont flame folks without suitable education.

Technology? Its a bow, not a space station!

I guess I'm on the correct forum then

Bowtech puts a goofy lookin center pivot thingy on their bow and suddenly they think they are the best!

Do THEY think they are, or do their ever growing customer community?

Mathews bows are like custom suits, you dont go to Walmart and buy a one size fits all tuxedo do you?? So why would you buy a one size fits all bow? You just get "close", I would like mine to be "exact".

Why can't you get exact with adjustable cams? honest question.

Hoyts got to be the ugliest bow in the world!

Do ugly bows kill deer as good as pretty ones?

They plug in some dampners in the riser, (how original ) and now they think they are the best!? Bull butter!

Again, who says they are the best?

Hoyt and Bowtech are good bows absolutely, but I dont think they hold a candle to Mathews.

Why? Because Mathews was the "first", they are the "best"

Do THEY think they are, or do their ever growing customer community? This was also sort of humor, but I would say the misinformed public may be responsible.

This is quite simple, you couldnt ever get "exact" with moving parts. Just trust me, I'm a Surveyor, we take measurements everyday within .04" and have to solve boundaries where the#'s from recorded deeds and Field measurementsare never actually"Exact"... Less moving parts= less wiggle room for error.

Hoyts got to be the ugliest bow in the world!

Also humor, my best buddy in the world shoots a Hoyt, and its a great bow. It kills deer just fine.

They plug in some dampners in the riser, (how original ) and now they think they are the best!? Bull butter!

Again, who says they are the best?
Humor once again, and once again a misinformed public...

No, and yes... They made some revolutionary contributions to the archery industry, you cant deny them that. They continue to produce, top quality, dependable bows every year. What more is there to say?

So you use humor in your logic, I just don't understand.I'm not denying Mathews is a great bow, they ARE (my best friend in the whole wide world shoots one), but in the recent years, I think many bow companys have passed them up in quality and "technology". Plain and simple. You may disagree, I'm pretty sure you do.

No other Bow Manufacturer has been more innovative than Mathews! What they've brought to the archery industry in the past decade has been amazing, and in my mind, there is no comparison..... Mathews is the best!!!
I agree.

Very true, but now other companys are passing them up with technology.
Agreed! By the way, Mathews also introduced perimeter weight technology on cams, which most everyone copied as well!

Well I just like to spice it up a little.[8D] old fashioned serious logic is boring.

Im going to try your tactics...[8D]
Why would you say that they have been passed up in quality and technology? Is it really that Plain and simple? A word of caution: I love to argue, I often can be found arguing with brick walls over obsurd things... Like who really invented the question mark (?)... or arguing with lawyers over silly things such as boundary controls, deed restrictions, thousandths of an inch, and how many licks it actually takes to get the center of a tootsie pop!!!!

You may disagree, I'm pretty sure you do.
I like your style. I dont totally agree with you, but I dont totally disagree either...

Agreed. And I can handle that[8D]

I think it is plain and simple, only because it does not seem like mathews has been doing anthing different in recent years, and others are. Kinda simple i guess?

A word of caution: I love to argue,

we'll get along great, no worries.

NO! I like YOUR style.
