Welcome to the club and congrats. That rush is why we do what we do. I tell all of my friends that haven't gotten one with a bow yet that they will never say they are too busy to go bowhunting again after that first kill. I am really happy for you.

Loved the story... mostly due to the details in north south east west referencing. It kept me orientated and feel like I was there. Congrats!

I have yet to harvest this year so my passionand excitementis still fresh as I'm sure yours is. Last year's buck was my first archery harvest andI'm hoping for number 2 this year. Bowhunting is awesome.

Thanks for sharing. Good luck with slitting that buck authorization tag!
