At 7:15 a small buck came from behind me and surprised me. It cut in front of me and jumped into the timber where I seen another buck coming in from a different direction. They met up and started to leave. I gave a quick grunt on the tru talker and they turned around. The smaller one walked right under my stand while this one was thrashing a tree for several minutes. While trying to watch both of them, one each side the smaller one went down the timber edge infront of me. This buckfinally decidedheshredded that tree up enoughand follow the same trail under my stand. He stopped about 10ft out in front of my stand. As soon as he turned his head I drew and shot.He ran about 25 yrds up the timber edge, turned around and headed back toward me. He cut back into the timber jumped a big downed tree and thats where he stayed! A little weak on the left side but still a good one! Although not a huge buck but my biggist to date. What a hunt, I'll be riding this one out for a long time!!!
