I hunt public land so need something light. I was wondering if the blinds that are like 30" inches tall would work good, or would I still be better off with a pop up blind, to keep me from getting busted with movement?

I just got an Escape Ground Blind Max. It wouldn't have been my first choice but a friend recommended it. I am very pleased with my choice. It sets up super fast and has lots of room. I was in about 20+ mph gusts at pointson Saturday and it held up just fine with the tie down ropes (anchors included).

I totally have to agree with the Excape Deluxe. I have had one for 2 years now and just love it. So easy and quick to set up. Ton's of space and the camo mesh is awsome. I don't think you will find a better blind for the price anywhere.

I've used 2 in my day.....DB Matrix and Eastman's ASAT blind. Both are awesome. The ASAT's advantage is price. Bout half the double bull, but the Matrix's advantage is the window system.
