Ok well I got one of these for Christmas last year. I'll admit I did not watch the video..so I quickly watched the short promo online.
So is the Growl part, the shroud over the regular grunt tube? So if I take the Growl part off, I have a normal grunt call. Sounds like it anyway....?
Since I now can't find my normal grunt call..I'm in scramble mode.
Any users?....tips?

You didnt just try blowing into it to see what sound it made? If you would have you would have seen that blowing it normally will give you a grunt sound. That 30 minute video was too much of your valuable time?

You don't need to take it apart to grunt with it. Just don't blow on it as hard.

On a serious note Atlas does use it for a grunt call, maybe he will chime in. I did test one and Atlas is correct it really is a good sounding grunt call.
