Default Buck Growl

I used one last season with fairly good results. Called a 3.5 8 pt. off a group of does with it, also called up a couple of younger bucks. Just curious on everyones thoughts about the call and if anyone else had luck

I bought into the hype and got one at Wal-Mart after the season was over when they had them for $5.00. So I will try it out next year, if nothing else, it will be interesting to see the deers reactions when blowing a fog horn in the woods. LOL

I should say the only time I did have success with it was when I used it on aggresive bucks, and it did seem to scare off little bucks for the most part. The growl combined with a snort weeez did seem pretty effective though.

I used the Buck Growl last season with some mixed results , one morning as I sat in my stand I gave the call a couple of grunts and ten minutes later a four point spike came rushing in.
I passed on that hoping for something bigger and let it walk away , gave the the call a couple more grunts and the same four point comes back.
This went on the good part of the morning until around 1:00 pm I grunted again only to have two does come in followed by the same four point again.
